Our breeding operation is a partnership with WolfHeart Ranch of Missouri. Our ranch includes 175 acres in the Tehachapi Mountains near Tehachapi, California. Our miniatures emphasize compact confirmation, sorrel and dark brown coloration, straight legs and good bone. We work with our donkeys every day to perfect good ground manners and mind. Herdsires:
We are currently using three jacks in our breeding program. We have a new baby jennet, Overlook's Pinon, sired by Frontier Legends Tumbleweed. We are expecting three foals in April-May from our perfect dark red with light points jack, Rancho Rhea Chianti; he is bred to sorrel jennets. We plan to use Country Music's Neal Mc Coy, a national champion and lead sire from WolfHeart Ranch (29.5 inch brown) and Overlook's Ebony Mountain (black 29")for our 2013 foal season.

Directions:
Overlook Ranch is located 13 miles from Tehachapi in the gated equestrian community of Bear Valley Springs. Visitors are always welcome with a call in advance. Please remember that our weather can be severe during the winter months as our ranch is at 5,500 feet altitude and subject to heavy snow.

We have sold all of our 2011 jennets. Currently, we have two ten month old jacks....soon to be geldings (May 1st). Overlook's Keene is a brown jack born April 2011 and Overlook's Caliente born May 2011. Either jack is available for $1,000 or $750 if gelded. If you are looking for show quality breeding stock, call us as you can choose from either Overlook Ranch or WolfHeart Ranch. Our of donkeys are well-groomed, current on vaccinations. We have a variety of donkeys currently for sale.  Wonderful breeding, show and pet quality donkeys, jennets and geldings are ready to find that perfect new home.  Our animals have had excellent care, and have been raised with lots of attention and love.  All are current on their vaccinations, worming and farrier care and all are registered.  When purchased they will leave with a halter and lead rope, and a bale of the hay they are used to eating to make an easy transition.  When thinking of purchasing donkeys remember, you can't have just one, they need care - food, fresh water, a good farrier, good fencing, shelter and most important, LOVE.

Luv Me Tender Farm is located in the Central Coast area of California, just outside of Paso Robles. We have raised Miniature Donkeys since 1992 and have produced some outstanding foals sired by Foxtail Farm's Elvis. Elvis has earned High Point Championships in several shows at Halter and in Performance. We're also looking forward to foals next year by our new herdsire, Rancho Rhea Rusty, a handsome 30-1/2" red-dun jack. Both jacks are available at stud to approved jennets. Visitors are always welcome to our beautiful ranch located 20 minutes west of Redding, in Ono.  Our goal is:  Correct conformation a must; color a plus!  We have jacks of every color (Jacob's Coat Jacks) all chosen for outstanding pedigrees and or conformation.  They range in size from 29 1/4 to 32 1/2 and are available for outside breeding to approved jennets.  We are very pleased to have our donkeys and their offspring win numerous halter and performance awards at NMDA shows, including Best of Breed and Junior Halter Champion.  We follow the breeders Code of Ethics and include information booklets, halter and lead ropes, and our continuing help and support when you purchase a donkey.  We usually have donkeys for sale all year, from weanlings to older, established donkeys.  Come visit, our donkeys all love attention.  (3/12)
