This was Synergy’s third year in Open.  He has won every Hi Point he has been in.  He is fully trained in all show events - in hand and driving and also is trained in pair driving.  He has a huge heart.  He is easy to clip and to get his feet trimmed. He loads and travels very good as well as stands for grooming.

This gorgeous young gelding is unique to say the least!  After 12 jennets, Smudge gave us our first jack.  He is compact with excellent confirmation and that beautiful hip and eye that Smudge puts on all her babies.  Many of Smudges foals have gone on to win halter and trail championships many times, both in Canada and the United States.  Their foals are now following in the family footsteps making their stand in the show ring. Solitaire has been to three shows and is always in the ribbons!

We are a small breeding farm located 40 minutes east of Vancouver, BC.  We give the utmost care to all of our donkeys right from birth.  We let our donkeys be donkeys, handled daily and allowed to interact and play to create better temperament and a willingness to learn, regardless if they are show quality or pet quality.  We are specializing in sorrels thru our herdsire, Pink Cadillac (see below).  We are happy to talk donkeys with everyone.  Our place is always open for visitors.  (1/14)

From the south, (U S), go north on I-5 to Bellingham, Wa. turn right on Hwy WA539 (Guide Meridian) 14 miles to Can/US border.  Straight 3 miles to 26 Ave. and turn left 1000 ft.

We are a small, select breeder of miniature donkeys located 25 minutes east of Vernon, BC near the foot of the Monashee Mountains. We currently have two dozen donkeys who are handled and played with daily. They are all very well cared for and up to date in all aspects of their health care. Our jacks “live like donkeys”, each with their own small herd of jennets and all of them are gentle pasture breeders and companions. We have a variety of colours, including sorrels, blacks, spots, greys and chocolates, but our focus is on excellent temperament and conformation. (8/16) 

Herdsires:
Our premiere herd sire is Stoney Acres Fire Cracker, 30.25”, sorrel. This little guy is a joy to handle and show. He was Grand Champion Jackpot Jack at the Miniature Donkey Extravaganza in Red Deer Alberta in 2008 on his first birthday, and Reserve Grand Champion Jack at the MDE Open Show in 2009. He also excels at hunter-jumping and trail. His foals are stocky and small, just like their daddy.

We also feature our small black herd sire, DuPlessis Farm’s Black Solitaire, true blue black, 30.25” at 3.5 years of age; HHAA Smalls, a dark brown and white spot who is, as his name implies, a tiny guy at only 29.75" at 2.5 years of age; and Asspen Grove Li\'l Spark, a vibrant red, tiny son of Fire Cracker, only 28.5" at 2.5 years of age. Directions:
We are located in the beautiful North Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, 25 minutes east of Vernon, just off Hwy 6 (or just an hour north from Kelowna, BC).

THE Donkey Farm is an Educational and Information Centre open to the public to come and learn all about donkeys. With over 1000 visitors this summer, the donkeys have become a point of destination in southern Ontario. We are also home to Pekard Miniature Donkeys, where we use DNA testing to produce dark pigment in spotted donkeys, along with NLP (no light point) spotted donkeys.
