We raise quality miniature donkeys of most colors. Our cute babies make excellent pets as well as quality breeding stock. We are proud of our herd sires: 30 3/4" Ass-Pirin Acres Jolly Roger, (light red)- KMA Montana The Sundance Kid, (black & white spotted)- Little Friends Nacho Supreme (red).  (3/12)

Currently for sale:
We have several nice donkeys for sale at this time. 3 2010 jennet foals, as well as young and mature jennies. We are awaiting several foals starting in April of 2011 which should include most colors.

We are also offering for sale: Ass-pirin Jolly Roger, light red, 30 3/4", outstanding breeding jack that has sired many beautiful foals for us. Look at him on our sale page. We have retained his son. We welcome any offers on him since we don't need three breeding jacks.

We also have two big girls for sale. One black 52 3/4" jennet and one 54 1/2" registered mammoth jennet. They are absolutely sweet and they would make nice riding donkeys with a little bit more training. we have had them on trails before and both did well. Price for both is $1500 - we would love for them to be able to stay together.

We also have a paint horse for sale, registered. She was our son's 4-H project horse and is really sweet. She needs to go to a permanent home where she has a little bit more space than she has here. Our other horse is very controlling and will not allow her into the shelter when it rains. Price: $350 Makes a wonderful kid's horse or beginner's horse. Our son did well with her at 4-H horse camp and competitions. He has had her on trails in LBL as well. Our son cares about her very much but has no time for her. It is very important to him that she will go to a good home. She is around our donkeys as well - so should have no problems with donkeys.

Our farm is nestled among the beautiful rolling hills of Kentucky just forty-five minutes south of Lexington.  We are home to a loveable, small, dark, herd of miniature donkeys with some of the finest pedigrees.  Little Moses, our black herd sire is out of Dodge City’s Jack of Spade the same sire of Future Link, and grandsire of Main Event. KKR Good as Gold our junior black herdsire is the grandson of Magnum 45 and has done very well in the show ring.  You will find, too, that our jennets are from well-established herd sires such as Motown, George Jones, LN Bronson and Magnum 45, Main Event.  By crossing these pedigrees we expect to produce some  very fine dark miniature donkeys that will provide the outstanding genetics for breeding programs as well as top quality conformation for the show ring and performance events.  (1/12)

We started raising miniature donkeys in 2005 and we have been hooked ever since! We started out with three and we have now grown to a herd of seventeen. Our herd currently consists of mostly spotted and red donkeys but we also have some gray duns and browns. All our donkeys are microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and receive hoof care on a regular basis. We strive to make our donkeys as healthy as possible. We are a small family farm and our donkeys receive individual attention daily. Our goal here at J&M Farm is to raise quality miniature donkeys for breeding and for pets. Be sure and check out our website as it stays up to date at all times.    (10/12)
