My vision is to breed donkeys with correct conformation, dark and wooly hair, sweet personalities, and a high pedigree. The CSF herd has many different bloodlines and have imported our black jack Hickory Hill’s Holy Smoke from Texas! The Copper Star Herd is in Frederick County outside of Adamstown, MD.

Herdsires:
Hickory Hill's Holy Smoke has arrived from Hickory Hill Donkey Farm in Texas. He is less than 30", jet black nlp, and has a white diamond on his forehead. Simply Gorgeous! Great temperament. We will be anticipating several of his babies Spring/Summer 2011. Holy Smoke carries BLUE EYE genetics and has passed this on to every foal in 2010!

Introducing our wooly Herd sire KZ Ask Zoltan. If you want your fortune told, Ask Zoltan! Zoltan brings the famous wooly genetics from Arrow Creek Harry Houdini to my herd. He is a grulla nlp very wooly monster from KZ Asspirations in NJ. He has just started to breed jennets. Look for his foals in 2012.

Jr. Herdsire Copper Star Farm's Trojan Warrior. Black and white with Blue Eyes! This little guy has some growing to do but I am retaining him. His genetics are amazing with some big names and lots of interesting colors: fully frosted white, black roan, black nlp, dark spots and the elusive black and spot!
