I am retired and have a small herd of Mini Reg. Donkeys. I specialize in good conformation and good disposition and my preference of color is Red. I do driving in parades and enjoy my donkeys that are handled every day. At present time I have a super 3 months old dark, dark red Jenny for sale this fall. I also have a excellent in every way Red Jack 1 1/2 month old Jack. Both will be ready for sale at weaning time. My Herd sires consist of 2 beautiful Red Jacks. Both very well bred with great disposition and conformation. Both are proven sires of some very fine colts. They are strong red breeders. Both standing at stud for $200 to approved Jennys.

We have been raising miniature donkeys since 1987. We have raised them for conformation, size and color. We\'ve met some wonderful people and have had a great time over the years. Due to health reasons, we are unable to continue raising donkeys. We have a select few that were going to be our breeding stock in our retirement years. We have 9 small jennets, brown, rose-dun, gray, and spotted. Among them are our twin girls, Sugar and Spice, the only twin girls in the U.S. Their daughter, Lizzy just gave birth to a 19 1/2" spotted girl last week. She has straight legs, back and teeth and is adorable and loving. We are selling Lizzy and her baby together. The twins and their daughters are descendants of HTA Pete Za and continue to get smaller every generation. They throw spots when bred to spots and throw dark red when bred to red. Herdsires:
Ma & Pa's Sawyer is very dark brown, his summer coat looks black with a stripe. He is conformation correct in every way and has a small head. He is really a beauty and throws really dark foals with the short head and short body.

Hauenstein's Lightning is a BEW, 32", is conformation correct and throws beautiful foals.

Take exit 432 off Interstate 80, go north of the exit for one mile to Fairview Road, then west one mile to our farm.

We have been raising registered mini donkeys since 2007 and currently have a small herd of reds and browns. Our herdsire is Itsy Bitsy Burro Co.'s 'Stars and Stripes' He is a beautiful red jack at just 30 1/2 inches. He has a sweet disposition and champion bloodlines. He has it all in one small package! We will breed to select outside jennys and are looking forward to some of his foals on our farm this year that will be listed for sale.

All of our donkeys are handled daily and given the attention they deserve. We give annual immunizations, regular hoof trimming and worming. We love to show off our donkeys and would be glad to share information with anyone looking to own their first donkeys.   (2/14)
