We are a small hobby breeder, having two or three foals per year, so that
I can give these babies the most attention possible. We begin training
at a young age so that the babies learn quickly to lead and to trust.

Champion Breeder of Registered Sport Morgan Horses and an up and coming ADMS
Miniature Donkey Breeder. Our experience in breeding quality Morgans has
dictated the same in our donkey herd, where confirmation and temperament
hold true in the show ring or at home. Pine Meadow Farm is situated on 254
acres in Northeastern, NY abutting the VT border, just minutes from Saratoga
Springs, NY. We are the home of USEQ Champion Morgans and an upcoming herd
of ADMS Miniature quality Donkeys. All our donkeys spend the day in 40+ acre
pastures along with our Morgan herd. Come walk the rolling fields with us to
admire, enjoy and pick out that special donkey for you.

Exit 14 of I87 North. Back over the highway to traffic light.
Turn Right onto Henning Road, follow to traffic light. Turn Right onto
Route 29 east. Take 29 east into Schuylerville. At traffic
light, turn Left onto Route 4. Follow Route 4 for 10 miles+/-, through
Fort Miller and into south Fort Edward. Pass Carey Road. The
farm is on the Right - see the big green sign. Turn into either South
or North entrance and travel up to the Big green barn, and admire the
scenery as you go.

Herdsire:
MGF Houdini's Top Hat is a 30" black wooley. He has great color and
very good conformation. (Pics on Website) But most important, he is so
gentle and sweet. He's great with moms, babies and very well mannered.
Topper is only 3 years old so his babies are just arriving!! So far 3 little
girls! 2 jet black and 1 tiny light gray. All under 20" at birth. They have
nice straight legs, good conformation, and gorgeous little heads. We
are very pleased.

Our donkeys are handled daily and many of them are used as therapy animals
they are taken into nursing homes, also handled by disabled children and
adults. You must have another equine or be purchasing two donkeys. They all
come with current coggins, worming, vaccination & are micro chipped. (1/14)

We are a small breeding farm situated in the Finger Lakes Region of New York
State about 30 minutes south of Rochester, New York. Our farm is situated in
the town of Lima, New York.
Hickory Springs has show quality donkeys we acquired mostly from
Thimbleberry Donkeys in Michigan.
We are very proud of our donkeys' conformation, markings, size and playful
personalities. Our mini herd of donkeys are a hoot and we just adore owning
and raising them!

Thimbleberry Pitch Black Jack is our second herd sire and he is outstanding
in conformation, rich black color and disposition. He is one friendly little
guy and we just adore him.
We are also retaining our wonderful spotted jack born this year! He is super
tiny and perfect with excellent markings. He will join our studs to produce
outstanding babies for us in the future.

(exit 10). Turn left onto Routes 5 & 20 heading east and turn right onto
Poplar Hill Rd. Continue on Poplar Hill Rd. until you come to Woodruff Rd on
your left. Turn left onto Woodruff Rd, stopping at a stop sign at the
corners of Livonia Center Rd. and Woodruff Rd. Cross over Livonia Center Rd.
and continue on Woodruff Rd. Our farm is on the right side of the road at
