Miniature Donkeys have been the highlight of our farm for over 17 years. Our
Champion herd sires are producing top quality foals that can be seen on our "New

We live on a small farm outside of Yamhill Oregon where we have raised 4
children, some foster children and an assortment of animals from sheep and cows
to English mastiffs, turkeys and miniature donkeys. 15 years ago we
purchased our first donkey, Angelo, to use as a guard animal for our
sheep. He was absolutely fantastic and proved not only to do his job but
to be smart, personable, and terrific with children. From there we were hooked
and added a female companion who has produced some wonderful offspring. Our
small herd is solely a hobby for us. (Eric is an equine veterinarian) Babies are
handled regularly from birth with love and attention. We breed registered stock
for top conformation and temperament. (6/10)

Angelo is the soul of our farm, initially chasing off predators when we
had sheep and now protecting the farm. He has a fantastic personality...would
rather be with us than eat...He has a classic Sicilian build with rounded rump,
straight legs and good teeth.

We have a park like setting for our 90 miniature donkeys with 23 foals and
weanlings, approximately 300-400 children visit each year and enjoy our loving
donkeys. I am a breeder but only place my donkeys with loving homes with
adequate shelter, feed and care. It is my wish that both the donkeys and their

Our Miniature Donkey Farm is located in the Eola Hills Wine Country. We have
many nice local wineries that surround us. Make a day of it...plan a trip out
to see our small herd of Miniature Donkeys and stop at a local winery on your
way home. We don't specialize in any one color of donkey...we love them all!!
We strive for well balanced, straight jennets to breed to our pretty spotted
boy, Little Magic. We believe that is the key to beautiful foals!! Our foals

There's a new guy on the block!!! His name is "HD's Little Magic". We
have only had this little Spotted 'Magic Man' for a few months but we are so
pleased with him. Thus far, he has pleasured every jennet we have put with
him!! Stay tuned for the outcome starting this Fall. Stud Fee: $500 to a
select few jennets.
Also, waiting in the wings, is our little junior herdsire: Du Plessis's
LittleBlack Pennington. This little boy is a tank at a year old and only
