We are just getting started in the wonderful world of raising and breeding miniature donkeys. I wanted a retirement project so we started with three geldings and then one bred jenny. And the herd just seemed to magically multiply. I have loved every addition whether it was a new foal purchased or born to one of our jennies or an older jenny that came to live with us or our three herdsires. Each one is special in their own way. There is nothing more relaxing than to sit down in the pasture and have hugging sessions with each and every donkey on the place. Can't help but feel the love coming from those donkeys and vice versa. We have been adding to our herd acquiring a wonderful selection of brood jennies who have produced some very fine foals. We are very proud of our herdsires and are waiting to see the foals out of Cimarron that will be arriving in 2009. Our first two foals out of Davin are beautiful little girls and we have several foals already by Irish Rambler that are outstanding. (10/10)

Here at Peckerwood we raise primarily miniature donkeys with a few standard donkeys thrown in for good measure. Our farm is located in Beautiful North East Texas off Interstate 30, close to Mt. 758's Alberto 33" Red. Alberto is a 758's Rosebud son.
Both are available for stud service.

Directions:
From Houston take I-10 west. Exit Flatonia/Moulton (661) Turn left under freeway and follow directional signs to 95 south. From 95 south turn right at flashing yellow light and follow directions to 532 west. (You will go through the town of Moulton and come to a T then turn left on 532). Only go a short distance and right after you go over the bridge of the west branch of the Lavaca River, turn left on 291 and we are up the hill on the left. Can't miss it. Just look for the donkeys!

Wee Hoofs is a small Mini Donkey Farm located in Bellville, Texas which is approximately 60 miles West of Houston. We have a variety of colors and strive for good confirmation, temperament, and small. They get a lot of love and attention from the day they were born and therefore, very loving and friendly.
