Our family has been raising Miniature donkeys since 2017. We have a small herd and usually produce somewhere around 6-8 foals each year. With that, each foal gets lots of love and attention from birth by us and our 3 children.
Our herd mostly originated from my grandpa, Doc Gardner, who raised minis for years. You will still see Gardner’s donkeys in many older bloodlines. We were also very fortunate to acquire our new herdsire this past year, Rearview’s Whopper. Whopper stands at 27.5″ tall and has the sweetest temperament of any jack I know.
Our donkeys are raised as a part of our family and they bring us so much joy. We hope the foals we produce will do the same for others. Please reach out if you have any questions!
