About Us

We are an Arizona Mini Donkey non-profit rescue specializing in mini donkeys and mini horses. Our animals come from TX, OK, KS kill pens, and slaughter sales. We intercept the minis, quarantine them for a few weeks then vet them, trim their hooves, and worm them so they’re all ready to go to their new homes.

Most of the minis have been abused or neglected or have not been handled since birth, occasionally, some are owner surrenders. We intake them to our program, work with them, gentle them, and then place them in forever, loving homes.

When one donkey is adopted it makes room for another to be saved. Over 40+ minis have been adopted since 2021! (3/24)
