  1. Interested in a miniature donkey.
    Just for a pet .
Please advise which is better, male or female ?
We also have goats . Does it matter which sex gets along with other animals ?
    Thank you

    1. Hi, Kim.
It really depends on the individual donkey. Definitely not a jack, but a gelding (neutered male) is usually the dependable, easy-going pet. Jennets can also be sweet. You will need to consider that a donkey is not happy without one of its own kind, so even if its in with goats, you’ll need two donkeys.
